From ADUs to whole-home remodels, we bring 30+ years of expertise to every project across Albany and the East Bay.
Silvio Dobrovat
"My father taught me to build every home as if my name stays on it forever. It does."
Whether you're adding rental income with a backyard ADU, creating space for aging parents, or transforming your entire home, we've done it hundreds of times across Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, and beyond. We handle the permits, manage the complexity, and keep you informed every step of the way. No surprises — just quality work from a team that's been doing this since 1993.
Backyard ADUs are one of the smartest investments an East Bay homeowner can make today — for rental income, multigenerational living, or a future office. We handle design, permitting, and construction across Albany, Berkeley, Oakland and the surrounding cities, with deep familiarity in every local jurisdiction.
Our ADU services include:
Benefit: Unlock your property's hidden value and create a versatile space that adapts to your needs.
Need more room but don't want to move? Our additions look like they've always been part of the home — same rooflines, same trim profiles, same window proportions. From second-story builds in Albany to kitchen extensions in Lafayette, we handle structural engineering through final finishes.
Our addition services include:
Benefit: More space, more comfort, and increased home value — without the need to move.
Some remodels are straightforward. Others need a contractor who can navigate tricky foundations, dated structural systems, and creative layout problems. Across the East Bay we have the engineering relationships, subcontractor bench, and project management to take on the projects other firms turn down.
Our remodel services include:
Benefit: A complete transformation tailored to your lifestyle and taste.
The East Bay's mild climate is built for year-round outdoor living. We design and build kitchens, decks, pergolas, and hardscape that turn your backyard into the part of the house you actually use — engineered for permitting and for decades of wear.
Our outdoor space services include:
Benefit: The perfect setting for relaxation, entertainment, and lasting memories.
Building a custom home from the ground up is a major undertaking. We have done it dozens of times across Albany, Kensington, El Cerrito and the greater East Bay — from lot assessment and design through final walkthrough — with the same transparency that has earned us 30 years of trust.
Our new construction services include:
Benefit: Build exactly what you want — with the quality and craftsmanship you deserve.
